Petit Bateau is a small ocean-membership outfit in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, run by Aurélien Portuese. Operations begin at launch. This page covers the website at lepetitbateau.org and the emails we send from it.
That’s it. No accounts, no passwords, no payment details anywhere on this site.
To give you what you asked for — the spearfishing playbook download or your founding-membership spot — and, once our email program launches, the occasional update about trips, the launch party, and partner offers. Nothing else.
We don’t send emails yet. Your address is stored only so we can reach you when operations begin — no newsletters, no confirmation emails, nothing in your inbox until the program launches. The consent checkbox on our forms covers those future updates; you can withdraw it (and delete your data entirely) anytime at lepetitbateau.org/unsubscribe.html.
We never sell your data. We never rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers. We don’t run ad-tech trackers on our signup forms. Your browser may keep a referral code in its own local storage so your friends get credit — that stays on your device, not with us.
We don’t send emails yet, so there’s nothing to unsubscribe from. If you’d rather we delete your address from our list entirely, do it anytime at lepetitbateau.org/unsubscribe.html — one step, no login, no “are you sure” maze.
On Cloudflare’s infrastructure in the United States — the same place this website runs. No email provider, no ad-tech: your address sits in our database and nowhere else until our email program launches. Our pages load their fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), which means Google sees your IP address when a page loads — that’s just how web fonts work; we don’t send Google anything else about you.
We keep your address until you ask us to delete it — which you can do anytime at lepetitbateau.org/unsubscribe.html. Deletion is immediate and complete: the address, its referral code, any referral credit it earned for someone else, and any founding-membership spot it held are all removed or restored.
